The permitting process is used to help assure that necessary minimum design standards and criteria are met for all new wastewater facilities and as a periodic check that the necessary planning, management, operation, and maintenance requirements are being met.

Wastewater Facility Permitting

We have delegation from the Florida Departement of Environmental Protection (FDEP) to issue permits on behalf of the FDEP for both domestic and industrial wastewater facilities.  This authorization is limited to non-NPDES activities. The permits we issue are listed below:

We also review domestic and industrial wastewater NPDES permit applications under our own authority provided by EPC’s Enabling Act, Chapter 84-446, and provide direct review comments to the FDEP.
