Hillsborough County Public Schools began the new school year on Monday, August 11th. In preparation, nearly 400 high school science teachers from across the county attended a Professional Study Day on August 4th at Spoto High School. The event featured sessions led by scientists, STEM professionals, and community partners, providing educators with valuable insights and resources for the year ahead.

EPC staff, Chris Pratt, led three sessions providing an overview of EPC's history and core functions. He also dove into the unique roles of the Water Division and engaged in thoughtful conversations with science teachers from various backgrounds.

Events like these offer valuable opportunities for our community's educators to broaden their professional development and bring new insights into their classrooms. We look forward to inspiring the next generation of scientists.
