What is an Individual Permit?
Collection/transmission systems can typically be constructed under the
general permit procedures. However for collection/transmission systems
involving innovative design or for collection/transmission systems having
features not complying with the design/performance criteria in the rule, a
specific (construction) permit will be required.

What is a General Permit?
A
collection/transmission system general permit is a permit issued for the
construction of a wastewater collection/transmission system that has been
designed in accordance with the standards set forth in Rule 62-604.400(1)
and (2), F.A.C., provided that:
(a) The Notice for use of the general permit is filed thirty (30) days
prior to initiation of construction; and
(b)
The treatment facility is not under a moratorium of any kind; and
(c) The
treatment facility to which the system will be connected has the capacity
to receive the wastewater generated by the proposed collection system, and
will continue to operate in compliance with all applicable rules.
