Submit Electronic and Digital Documents

The Environmental Protection Commission (EPC) of Hillsborough County has implemented a paperless document submittal process that allows forms to be submitted electronically.  The steps below should be used to submit forms and associated documents to EPC, including digital and/or electronic submittals:

 

  1. Complete all required forms using Adobe Reader. Adobe Reader 8.0 or higher must be used. It is suggested that you download Adobe Reader 11 from the following website:

    http://adobe.com/reader/.

  2. If your application form requires a signature, sign the form electronically by clicking on the signature field and following the online step-by-step Adobe instructions.

     

  3. Application forms and documents that require a Professional Engineer’s signature and seal must be digitally or electronically signed and sealed in accordance with the FBPE Rule 61G15-23, F.A.C.

     

  4. SUBMITTAL OPTIONS
    1. BY MAIL

      Hard copies of the completed application forms and/or documents containing all required signatures and seals, along with all required attachments and fees should be mailed to:

    2. DIGITALLY

      Below is a list of vendors that offer digital services, including the required document certification.  A certification statement must appear on the first page of digitally submitted documents).

    3. ELECTRONICALLY - VIA IMAGED DOCUMENTS

      Application Forms and/or documents may be submitted electronically that have been physically signed and sealed as long as the signature and seal is legible in the scanned PDF of the completed form (document certification and authentication codes not required).

    4. ELECTRONICALLY - VIA ENGINEER’S REPORT

      Application Forms and/or documents may be submitted electronically along with submittal of an Engineer’s Report Cover letter (SHA-1 authentication codes required.  See Preparing Electronic Documents and Engineer Report Cover Letters).

ADDITIONAL DIVISION-SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS

All digital and electronic forms and documents must be e-mailed to the appropriate EPC email address provided after completing e-document submittal.  For additional EPC division related instructions on submitting PDF documents via digital or electronic submittal, please click on the links below for division-specific requirements.  Following your e-mail submittal, an automated receipt email will be returned to you acknowledging receipt of your submittal.
