Commissioners Recognize Local Auto Salvagers as “Green Yards”
During the August 18,
2005 EPC Board meeting, County Commissioners recognized three auto salvage
facilities as “Green Yards.” Companies achieving the Green Yard status are those who
go above and beyond regulatory compliance, setting an environmental example for
other auto salvage yards to follow.
All Auto Hustlers, Gagel’s Auto Parts, and Japanese
and European Used Auto Parts joined the six inaugural facilities recognized in March
2005 into the Green Yards Program.
