Executive Director's Message
Welcome to the website of the
Environmental Protection Commission of Hillsborough County (EPCHC). Our
mission here at EPCHC is protection of the natural resources of
Hillsborough County. We have a talented group of professional
scientists, engineers and support staff working in the fields of:
· Environmental Education and Outreach
· Pollution Prevention
· Baywide Monitoring
· Resource Regulation
· Compliance and
Enforcement
As we continue to improve this site we encourage feedback and
suggestions for future incorporation. The future of resource protection
is dependent on a full understanding by all of us on why it is
necessary. Fostering a culture of resource stewardship promotes
individual and corporate responsibility for safeguarding our
environment. We hope to provide the tools for environmental
education and information at this site and to serve as environmental
extension agents to the citizens of Hillsborough County.
