The purpose and scope of this Committee is to review and evaluate county environmental issues as requested by the Environmental Protection Commission (EPC) and to initiate proposals and forward them to the EPC as recommendations for action (view Bylaws).

Each of the seven Commissioners appoints two members to CEAC and the cities of Tampa, Temple Terrace and Plant City each appoint one for a maximum of 17 members. The Committee meets monthly to discuss environmental issues. Meeting dates and agendas are posted on the website as early as possible before each meeting.

Length of Appointment:    Two-year term
Creating Authority:           EPC Resolution No. R88-0026 adopted on 02/16/1988
Meeting Time and Place:  1st Monday of each month, 3:00 – 5:30 p.m.
