About the Department
The Finance and Administration Division
(FAD) provides critical staff support that includes: preparation and
monitoring of the agency’s budgetary needs including monitoring of contracts
and all internal accounting functions, coordination of the purchase of all
goods and services, coordination and submission of the agency’s
payroll/timekeeping and operation and management of the agency’s fleet. The FAD coordinates employment personnel functions at the
agency with the Hillsborough County Civil Service and the Human Resources
Department.
Personnel functions completed by the FAD include
preparation and submittal of payroll, employment status forms, employee
travel and training forms, and incident reports. In addition, the Division
handles inquiries into employee benefits for health, life, and disability
insurance and retirement benefits. These processes follow Hillsborough
County Administration’s Human Resources and Civil Service procedures.
