EPC celebrated a fun and "Furry" Valentine's Day! We delivered much needed pet supplies and cash donated by employees at the Roger P. Stewart Center to the Hillsborough County Pet Resource Center (PRC) during lunch on Valentine's Day.
The visit coincided with the PRC's Receiving Outside Meaningful Playtime! Socializer. ROMP! gets dogs at PRC out of their kennels daily to have fun by playing outside. Volunteers assist in bringing our dogs out and playing with them during ROMP! to ensure they enjoy themselves to the fullest extent. There are several different ways to help in this vital part of caring for the PRC dogs.
Interested in Volunteering at the shelter? Here is what Pet Resources would like you to know:
Do you like to hang out with dogs? Become a ROMP! Socializer who gets to play with PRC dogs nonstop for a few hours. Does the dog like to play fetch? Be brushed? Be left alone? Whatever the chosen activity is, you get to spend that time with each dog to ensure our dogs enjoy themselves to their fullest extent. A new dog is brought to the yard until all the dogs have ROMPed!
Need a workout? So do our dogs! Become a ROMP! Retriever to make sure every dog is able to get out and ROMP!. The more dogs that are brought out, the more are able to enjoy time outside their kennels. All of the dogs deserve playtime out of their kennel, help them get it.
